  • Thesis title: “A Costructivist approach for educating primary student teachers in Science”.

Professional Experience

  • 1996-1997: The Technical Museum of Thessaloniki, guide of school groups in the exhibition area of the museum.
  • 1997-2005: American College of Thessaloniki “Anatolia”, Secondary Science Teacher.
  • 2003-2005: In-service educator “Academic and Professional Improvement of Elementary Teachers”, Aristotles University of Thessaloniki, Funded by the European Union & Greek Government.
  • 2005: Lecturer, “Physics Education”, Department of Primary Education, University of Western Macedonia.

Research and scientific work cover three areas:
(a) Teaching-Learning Sequences
(b) Nanotechnology Education
(c) Science Pedagogical Content Knowledge
(d) Development of science educational materials.
