Teaching

Undergraduate courses

I am currently teaching the following undergraduate courses:

Aerodynamic Design and Control of Aircrafts (403)
The course introduces the essential aerodynamic knowledge required aircraft design and focuses on the complete aircraft design process from the initial conceptual design to the necessary detailed calculations, refinements and trade-offs.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (263)
The course focuses on the theory of computational fluid dynamics but also on the analysis of various practical applications.

Postgraduate courses

I also teach the following postrgraduate courses:

Computational Fluid Dynamics (202) (International Hellenic University)
The course is designed to deal with a wide range of applications of Computational Fluid Dynamics while it provides a comlete theoretical background on the numerical solution of fluid flow governing equations.

Energy Conversion Systems (203) (International Hellenic University)
Topics taught: Wind energy, gas turbines & cogeneretaion

Special Topics in Heat Transfer (105) (International Hellenic University)
Topics taught: Conduction and convection

Thermofluids (ADVENS - University of Western Macedonia)
Topics taught: Conduction, convection, radiation

Computational Fluid Dynamics (ADVENS - University of Western Macedonia)
Topics taught: Turbulence modelling, the SIMPLE algorithm, CFD applications
