We present a number of teaching models <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">designed to raise students\u2019 awareness<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">as to the purpose and rationale of strategy use<\/span><span lang=\"EN\">and <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">to give them opportunities to practice the strategies that they are being taught, and to help them understand how to use those stra\u00adtegies in new learning contexts.
